NBA Coach, NBA star & Bellaire High School hometown hero, John Lucas III, will be hosting a FREE live virtual basketball workshop teaching kids form, technique & running virtual drills. He just wants to spread joy and some basketball fun to the community during this difficult time. All you need is a ball and a screen that allows you to join the Zoom group. We are essential! Our park has never been more important to the mental and physical well - being of our community. Evelyn’s Park will remain open to the public during our regular hours of 7AM-10PM. However, effective immediately, in accordance with the Mayor's public health order, the children's play area, the sculpture and the public restrooms will be closed through April 30, 2020.
Betsy’s will remain open from 11AM- 7PM for takeout and curbside delivery, and you are invited to picnic in the park or take it home to your family. Please follow the proper health precautions recommended by the City of Houston to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including being respectful of fellow visitors.
